• Safe removal of all hazardous materials from the site.
• Successful recycling of 99% of demolition materials, contributing to the project’s sustainability goals, excluding the onsite crushed concrete that remained on site to be reused during the development.

• Working close with party wall surveyors working to approved method statements and safe system of works for undertaking the separation of the office and neighbouring building.

Through meticulous planning, rigorous safety protocols, and collaboration with key stakeholders, the project was executed efficiently and with minimal disruption to the surrounding community.

The site posed many technical requirements, such as party wall separations, working alongside UXO survey teams and working alongside remedial works teams.

Initially the works were down to the top of slab until trial holes discovered contamination beneath the slab which Greenfield assisted with the removal works.

Greenfield’s experience was key to the success of this project.

The two structures were a combination of single-storey  and two storey buildings and warehouses, covering an area of approximately 5400m².

Construction was a mix of brick and masonry buildings, with cement bonded roof sheets and steel portal frame buildings.
